Ruby in color with purple hues, mostly clear and bright.  The nose is great.  Black cherries, cherries, spice and slight red currant note.  Medium bodied.  Great semi-plush texture.  Nicely balanced.  On the palate, this is young but drinking well.  It has plenty of depth but unwinds quickly in the glass.  Flavors of black cherries, currants with spice and slight char.  Long finish.  This should continue to drink well for the next ten years, maybe  more.  Very nice on its own, but would be better with food.  This would work well with Couscous dishes or of course, braised beef.

This wine is pretty much at peak at this point but drinking quite well.  Pop and pour and it was drinking from the get go.  Purple in color with a slight ruby line at the rim.  The nose has cherries, a slight funk and just a hint of aquarium water.  It is better on the palate and more fresh.  juicy cherries with some complexity.  An underlying earthiness though clean.  The fruit is ripe.  No tannins.  While it drinks well on its own, it would be better with some medium or lighter fare.  The fruit is fresh enough to stand up to some spice as well.  These should be drunk up in the next few ye

Light ruby in color.  The nose has cherries, slight dust and slight funk.  On the palate, this is open and drinking nicely.  Some depth.  Cherries with slight minerality.  This might have a bit of upside with good cellaring but won't make old bones.  That's fine as it will make enjoyable drinking over the next 7 to 10 years.
