Pinot Noir

Purple in color.  The nose is tight.  Cherries and spice.  On the palate, slight tannins.  Black cherry fruit.  Big wine.  Needs a year.  

Purple in color.  The nose is powerful; cherries and charcoal.  Cherries and spice on the palate.  Bold wine.  Big.  This was the best of a vertical from 06 to 16 suggesting that this is a wine to drink younger.  

Purple/ruby in color.  The nose has spice and cherries.  The palate matches the nose.  This is young and bold.  Drinking well now if primary. Nice finish.  

Ruby in color.  The nose has sandalwood and cherries.  Cherries and spice on the palate.  Drinking well now if still a bit young.  Nice finish.  

Ruby/purple in color.  Slight barnyard funk along with some nice cherry fruit.  On the palate sour cherries but also a slight vegetal note.  Seems like a solid wine but perhaps a bit under ripe.  

Ruby in color, purple core.  The nose has cherry juice.  On the palate, this is a bit more elegant.  Cherries and spice.  Some sour cherries.  Good acidity.  Long finish.  Good match with food.  

Deep ruby in color.  The nose has light cherries and spice.  Much better on the palate.  Complex layers of cherries and earth.  Also some black cherries.  Drinking well.  Long finish.  

Purple, ruby at the rim.  The nose has cherries and spice.  On the palate, sour cherries.  Nice depth.  Drinking young but quite well now.  Good finish.  

Ruby, a bit thinner in appearance.  The nose has cherries and slight black cherries.  Nice depth.  Good energy.  Plenty of dark cherry fruit.  Some sour cherries on the finish.  

Purple in color, ruby at the rim.  The nose has nice cherries.  On the palate, sour cherries, slight gravel.  Nice.  Not much complexity but some.  Food friendly.  Good finish.
