Ruby in color. The nose has nice cherries with some floral notes. A bit of spice. On the palate, this has some depth. Bright cherry fruit with an underlying mineral/char. Still young but opens nicely. Good finish. Not a huge Pinot but certainly no wall flower either. Should go with a good amount of foods. Drink over the next ten years or so.
Ruby in color, clear and bright. The nose is dusty with cherries. On the palate, light cherries. OK finish. Certainly a fine Pinot Noir. This retails for around $25 which is a fair price. Varietally correct. Will work with a wide variety of foods. Probably won't improve but should cellar well for another 10 years.
Deep ruby in color, purple at the core. The nose is nice with sour cherries, cola and spice. On the palate, this is a big wine. Very reminiscent of a Kosta Browne wine in style. Black cherries, some cola and some spice. Has a nice depth and tight complexity. Enough acidity to carry food. Lots of fruit. Good finish. Delicious wine. Doesn't seem to be at peak yet and showing little signs of age at this point.
Kosta Browne wines are some of the most sought after Pinots in California. They are also wines that people tend to love or hate because they are to the ripe and jammy side of Pinot Noir. Its always fun to drink one and listen to the comments. This is deep ruby in color. The nose has bright black cherries with some baking spice. With air, some root beer and Faygo Red Pop notes. On the palate, there is a lot of cherry, black cherry notes along with a bit of cola. It is big and fruity and also delicious. Sour cherries, slight vanilla, cherries and slight spice. Slight tannins. Long finish with a cherry/anise candy quality. This still seems a bit shy of maturity and there may be some upside. It has a full bodied wonderful texture that show sunshine without being a fruit bomb. Long finish.

Good with a wide variety of foods. Not sure if it will improve but should continue to mature for at least another decade.
Ruby in color, purple at the core. The nose has cinnamon, cherries, and dark cherries. Some cedary spice. On the palate, this has nice tart cherries with an underlying earthiness. It seems open and drinking well although will certainly mature. Some depth to it. Would work with a lot of different foods. This retails for around $35 which, for Burgundy, makes this a nice entry point.
Light ruby in color. The nose is great but a bit tighter than the Clos Vougeot. Cherries, and some rhubarb and cranberries. Also some cedar. On the palate, this is medium bodied with nice cherry and cranberry fruit. There are slight tannins. Lots of depth. This continued to improve in the glass but really needs more cellar time. It has good acidity. Long finish. A lovely wine proving why the better wines from Echezeaux justify its Grand Cru status.
Ruby in color. Gorgeous nose. Surprisingly accessible. Cherries, black cherries, floral notes and slight baking spices. Complex. On the palate, this is very pretty. Elegant. A soft texture but yet firm. Cherries and black cherries. Just a touch of earth and spice. Long finish. Great balance. While this is sure to improve for twenty years, it is superb right now. This is an expensive wine in anybody's book, but given the state of Burgundy, this is a great wine that will justify its price (relatively speaking). Lots of upside here.
it is unusual for a French wine to list a varietal on the label. This is labeled Vin de France which is why it can be done. There is an address in Mercurey so perhaps these grapes are grown in Burgundy but that is just speculation. Ruby in color, clear and bright. The nose is slightly earthy with macerated cherries and slightly sour cherries. On the palate, this has some serious tannins especially for Pinot Noir which is unusual. The wine is thin bodied and lean with cherries. There is a slight depth. It sold for under $10 per bottle so would make a find party wine.
