Im Weingebirge is one of the oldest vineyard names in Europe first being mentioned in 511 AD. This is a late release and really shows that even the middleweight Federspiels can age just fine. This is just starting to get close to maturity at 7 years from vintage. Silvery/gold in color, clear and bright. This is drinking beautifully, but will likely improve over the next year or two. Drink over the next ten to fifteen years. This would go well with fish or tofu tacos.
