Light yellow in color. The nose has vanilla, clay, lemons and minerals. Nice. On the palate, this is full bodied. Slightly oily. Has a nice tart lemony quality. Seems like it has a nice food friendliness. Fruit forward but not tropical. Unique for a SB profile. Has some level of maturity but still a nice verve to it. Drink in the next few years.
This is an under $10 Sauvignon Blanc from France. It is made in the style of a Loire Valley wine, that is more mineral based with some fruit and good acidity. Light golden in color. The nose is fine with minerals, and slight grapefruit. On the palate, this is slightly bitter. An underlying minerality. Slightly flabby. Innocuous. For the price, it is fine, but don't expect magic.
Light golden in color. The nose is grassy like a California Sauvignon Blanc from 20 years ago. Also a bit of orange peel. Cleaner on the palate with the orange peel coming thru along with some slight tropical fruit. Full, slightly oily texture. Good acidity. Very good finish. Lot's of value here at $13 especially for people (and there are a lot) who like this style of Sauvignon Blanc.
This was tried from Magnum. A Magnum retails for $15. That is crazy. And, you know what, it's not bad at all. Silvery green in color. The nose has grapefruit and slight crushed shells. On the palate, this is clean with grapefruit notes. Very solid and refreshing not much depth but good energy. Food friendly. Amazing value.
What a delicious wine. Golden in color. The nose has honey, quince and slight apricot. On the palate, this is viscous. Sweet but not overtly. Good acidity. Honey and slightly bitter apricot notes make it easy to drink a second glass. Long finish. Easily has a couple of decades left. Just delicious.
Silvery green in color. Very nice nose with chalk, minerals, tarragon and slight lemon notes. Decidedly more mineral driven than fruit. On the palate, the lemon comes out a bit more along with a bit of peach. Plenty of minerals as well. A very nice oily texture. Great balance and acidity. Long finish. This is a energetic and persistent wine that is lean and goes great with food. It has depth and complexity as well and probably be drinking just fine in ten years, but the energy will be gone, so it is best enjoyed in the next few.
Light green gold in color. The nose is nice with minerals and melons. On the palate, this is tight. Obviously it's young, but still it took some time to open. The melons carry thru to the palate along with a slight grass note. Good finish. Works well with or without food but needs a bit of air. Very solid but seems like some patience may be rewarded. Good now, but will greatness develop? I think so.
80% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Semillon. Silvery gold in color. The nose is nice with slight tropical fruit. Also some pears. On the palate, this is nice. Round. Not a lot of acidity. Tasty though and easy to drink. Drink it cold and it will be refreshing. Food friendly. This is under $20 and a pretty good value. Drink over the next few years to enjoy its freshness.
Light silvery gold in color. The nose is big with lots of yellow grapefruit. On the palate, this is not as big but nice. Minerals and clean. A slight bitter note. The finish shows the return of the grapefruit. This took about 30 minutes to open and improved after that. Its an easy drinking wine that is very food friendly. No hard edges. It proved to be quite popular with friends.

Refreshing but also with some depth. Fairly priced at $35.
