This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Carignan and Marselan from northern Israel.  Purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose is nice with attic dust, cassis, black cherries, char and spice.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  On the palate, this is drinking well.  Lots of black cherry fruit with some spice and char.  Good finish.  This should drink well over the next three to five years.  It is nice on its own but would be better with food.  It will work well with braised meat dishes.

This is a proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Verdot and Merlot from Israel.  Inky purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose is deep and complex with cassis, black raspberries, char, moist earthiness, and spice.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Nice balance.  On the palate, this has ripe black cherry fruit along with plums, spice, slight chocolate and char.  Long finish.  This is tasty and drinks easily on its own and will work well with many foods.  It should be a natural with Brisket (the Jewish kind).  It is Kosher.  Drink over the next three to five years.

Still showing young, so give it plenty of air if serving soon.  Inky purple in color, opaque and shimmering bright.  The nose is great.  Complex and deep with scents of cassis, graphite, slight cigar box, and spice.  Firm tannins.  Full bodied.  On the palate, cassis and black cherries with spice and char.  Long finish.  Ideally hold for another five to ten years and drink for fifteen to twenty after that.  Very nice on its own but better with food.  It will go well with a hearty Beef Stew.

Purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose has an earthiness along with black olives and cassis. Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  On the palate, flavors of cassis, black cherries and spice.  Nice finish.  Overall, a pretty classic Stags Leap Cab that is just getting to maturity.  Drink over the next ten years.  It is nice on its own and will work with many foods. It would work well with Roasted Root Vegetable Casserole.

2022 Dalla Valle Cabernet Sauvignon, USA, California, Napa, Oakville, Wine Review

Vintage:
2022
Grade:

This is quite young and tight and needs another five to ten years of good cellaring - minimum.  Inky purple in color, opaque and shimmering bright.  The nose is very tight.  Showing a bit of cassis, some cherries, spice and char.  On the palate, firm tannins.  Full bodied.  This wine seems shut down for the moment but there are some sweet cherries.  Moderate finish.  This wine has great structure and in due time, should be gorgeous.  This is an expensive wine and should be held for a decade and drunk for twenty to thirty years after that.
