2018 Chartron et Trébuchet Ladoix 1er Cru Les Hautes Mourottes Blanc, France, Burgundy, Wine Review
Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with vanilla, and a bit of lemon cream along with a bit of sulfur. Medium bodied. Nice texture. Moderate acidity. On the palate, this is nice with lemon notes and a slight lemon pith. Good finish. This will work better with food. Drilled trout or other seafood would be a nice match. Drink now.
2022 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis, France, Burgundy, Wine Review
Probably my favorite producer of Chablis that I choose to afford. This is their basic bottling and it is a tremendous value. Green/gold in color, clear and bright. The nose is great with green apples, flint, salinity and slight peach. Crisp acidity. Medium bodied. On the palate, green apples with underlying flint/char. Long finish. This is refreshing on its own but would be great with many foods. It worked wonderfully with various vegan dishes. Drink over the next seven to ten years.

2020 Joseph Colin Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Champlots Blanc, France, Burgundy, Wine Review
Of course, this is 100% Chardonnay. Pale golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is lovely with apples, slight grapefruit and white flowers. Medium bodied. Sinewy texture. On the palate, this is lean but powerful with apples, grapefruit and a bit of lemon on the finish. Nice enough on its own but really needs food to shine. It worked with vegetarian sushi but for those who eat seafood, regular sushi would be nice. Drink over the next ten years.

2021 Ceritas Chardonnay Peter Martin Ray, USA, California, Santa Cruz, Wine Review
Santa Cruz is perhaps my favorite area for Chardonnay anywhere. It has sunshine but the wines remain crisp and not blowsy and have depth. Golden in color, clear and bright. The nose has lemons, slight vanilla, and great minerality. Full bodied. Light tannins. Great energy and balance. On the palate, lemons, lemon curd, minerals and char. Crisp acidity. Long finish. This is delicious on its own but will work for many foods. A nice choice with Tuna Steaks off the grill. Drink over the next ten to twelve years.
2008 Rhys Chardonnay Alpine Vineyard, USA, California, Santa Cruz, Wine Review
Once again proving that these Chardonnay's age very nicely. Golden in color, clear and bright. The nose has lemon creme, vanilla, and spice. Full bodied. Crisp acidity. Great balance. On the palate, this is deep and complex and delicious. Flavors of lemon creme, vanilla and minerality. Long finish. Delicious on its own and worked well with vegetarian Mideastern food. This may be at peak but if so, just, as there wasn't any old age showing. Still at age 16, its good to check in on it.
