Golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is nice with pineapple, minerals, peach and vanilla.  Medium bodied.  Round, no hard edges.  Good acidity.  On the palate, peaches, vanilla and minerality.  This is sweet but enough acidity to balance.  Long finish.  This is still young but drinking well.  It should drink well for another fifteen to twenty years.  Nice on its own, this will work with food that can work with the sweetness.  It would be lovely with Thai food.

This is drinking beautifully.  Medium golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has pineapple, wet rocks, slight rock candy and slight peach.  Lovely semi-viscous texture.  Good acidity.  On the palate, this is sweet but just a bit.  Pineapple and peach with underlying minerality and wet rocks.  Long finish.  Delicious.  This is mature and probably should be consumed in the next ten years.  Great on its own, this is very food friendly.  It will work great with Peking Duck.

This bottle was purchased last summer at the winery.  Great showing for this wine.  Dry.  12.5% abv.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is interesting with peaches, crushed stones and slight herbal notes.  With air, just a hint of petrol emerges.  Medium to full bodied.  Slightly viscous.  Complex and deep on the palate.  Peaches and crushed rocks.  Long finish.  Not a typical showing but delicious.  The wine wis Demeter certified Biodynamic.  Drinking well, this will easily go another fifteen to twenty years.  Very food versatile, this wend great with Vegetable stuffed Tof

Arguably the best Riesling in the world.  This dry Riesling comes from Alsace.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is great.  Clean.  Aromas of peach, slight apple, chalk, crushed stones and slight sea air.  Medium to full bodied.  A great backbone of acidity.  On the palate, this is delicious.  Dry.  Notes of peach, apple and chalk.  Slightly viscous texture.  Long finish.  Complex.  Drinking great now, this should have another twenty or thirty years of life left.  Very food versatile.  It will match with almost anything.  It would be awesome with Thai food.

The last time I tried this (2018) this was shut down.  It was nice to revisit this as it wakes up.  It still could use more cellar time.  Patience will be rewarded.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has some sulfur but much less than Prum wines of twenty years ago.  Aromas of sulfur, smoke, minerals, slight pineapple and lemon.  Medium bodied.  Slightly viscous texture.  Great lively acidity.  On the palate, minerals, lemons and slight pineapple.  This is sweet but the acidity keeps it from being heavy.  Long finish.  This needs a few more years in the cellar at this point

The wines are Richter are some of the best values in wine.  These are world class Riesling for an affordable price.  Golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has minerals, peaches, and slight lemon.  Medium bodied.  Slightly viscous.  On the palate, this is sweet.  Not cloying but not semi-sweet either.  Load of minerality, peach and slight salinity.  Great balance.  Long finish.  Delicious.  This drinks great on its own and will work well with lighter or spicy foods.  A nice choice with Thai food.  Drink over  the next twelve to fifteen years.

Screw capped.  This is a very nice Riesling and a very good value.  Light gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose has lots of gun powder/petrol along with some apples.  Medium bodied.  The palate is much fresher with apples and a bit of citrus (tangerines).  Good acidity.  Nice finish.  This is nice on its own and should be very food friendly.  It would work well with southeast Asian cuisines.  Drink over the next ten years.

Arguably the best producer of Riesling in the world.  Golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is lovely with just a hint of petrol along with peach, wet rocks and slight white flower notes.  Full bodied.  Good acidity.  On the palate, this is sweet but with enough acidity to cut it.  Very rich.  Peach, slight pineapple and minerality.  Long finish.  Nice on its own, this will work well for dessert with a not too sweet cake.  Drink over the next thirty years.

The grapes are grown in Washington and shipped (34F) to northeast Ohio where the wines are made.  12% abv. Light golden in color.  The nose is interesting with nice minerality along with a slight chamomile note and peaches.  Medium bodied.  Dry.  On the palate, the minerality comes thru along with a bit of lemon peel.  Nice finish.  This is drinking well now on its own and should be quite food friendly.  A nice match would be Thai food.  Drink over the next five to eight years.

Made from old vines (alte reben).  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is nice  with minerals/wet rocks, slight pineapple and a bit of diesel.  Medium bodied.  Some viscosity.  On the palate, this is slightly sweet.  Lots of minerality with a bit of pineapple and citrus (Meyer lemon?).  Good acidity.  Nice finish.  Showing just a hint of age, this should drink well for another ten to fifteen years (at least).  Nice on its own, this will work with lighter salads; a pasta salad would work well.
