It is always a pleasure to drink Kracher, especially an older one.  The lower the number, generally, the less sweet they are.  Iced tea in color, clear and bright.  The nose is lively with molasses, hazelnuts, but also apricots and salinity.  Full bodied.  Viscous.  On the palate, this sweet but not crazy sweet.  Good balance.  Delicious.  Easy to  drink.  Flavors of hazel nuts, Salinity and slight dried figs.  Long finish.  This will work with less sweet cakes, maybe something nutty.  Drink over the next ten years or so.

Tasted at Divino Wine Bar in Budapest.  Medium Deep golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has lots of minerality with slight animal notes along with an herbal streak and alfalfa.  Medium bodied.  On the palate, minerals with a slight tangerine note on the finish.  This is a nice wine to drink alone or with lighter foods.  Drink over the next five years.

This was a fun bottle.  It is a white wine that comes in a one-liter bottle with a crown cap.  Light golden in color.  It is made from Welschriesling, Feteasca Regala and Grünspitz grapes.  Light golden in color with silvery hues, clear and bright.  Light bodied.  The nose has pears with minerality.  on the palate, this is dry.  Pears with minerality.  Crisp and clean.  Easy to drink.  Thise drinks well on its own and would be nice with lighter foods and salad.  Drink over the next few years.

This is a white made from the Olasrizling grape more commonly known elsewhere as Welschriesling or Italian Riesling and has no relationship to Riesling.  12.5% ABV.  Silvery/gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose has Meyer lemons, pears, smoke and minerals.  Light bodied.  On the palate, this has tart apples, pears and slight orange citrus notes.  A bit of almonds on the finish.  It is refreshing with strong acidity.  This should drink well for the next five to seven years.  It will work better with food.  Smoked whitefish should be a nice pairing.
