This Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir from 30+ year old vines in the Loire Valley in France.  12.5% abv.  This is a delightful and refreshing wine.  Pale salmon pink in color, clear and bright.  The nose has strawberries, oranges and slight pine.  Medium bodied.  Nice, slightly creamy texture.  On the palate, flavors of apples and strawberries.  Clean finish.  This is nice on its own and will work with most foods.  It would be nice with soft cheeses and crackers on the patio.  Drink over the next year or two.  

Arguably, as good as Chianti gets, the Vigna del Sorbo is classified as a Gran Selezione.  At age 11, this is still quite young and needs a bit of air.  Deep purple in color, ruby at the rim, opaque and bright.  The nose has cherries, black cherries, tea leaves, sandalwood and spice.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Great acidity.  On the palate, this is tight but delicious.  It takes a few hours to open and then drinks quite well.  It is great on its own but even better with some food.  It would be great with a big plate of Spaghetti and Meatballs.  Drink over the next twenty years.

What a gorgeous Riesling!  Pale golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is deep and concentrated with slate, apricots and slight lime zest.  Medium bodied.  Creamy texture.  Great balance.  On the palate, this is still youthful.  Lots of energy and depth.  Dry.  Crisp minerality/slate with apricots and slight peach.  Long finish.  This is delicious on its own and will work with almost any foods.  It would be great with fried chicken or fried mushrooms.  It is drinking well now and will undoubtedly mature.  Drink over the next twenty to thirty years.
