Consumed off the menu at Eliwana Tortilis Camp in Amboseli National Park in Kenya.  This is a GSM blend from southern France.  Deep ruby in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose is deep and enticing.  Aromas of plums, black raspberries, black cherries, slight leather, char and slight floral notes.  Full bodied.  Light to medium tannins.  Nice energy.  On the palate, this has some depth and complexity.  Flavors of black cherries, plums and black raspberries with slight char.  Nice finish.  This is nice on its own and very food friendly.  Think stews, braised meats or beans (Cassoulet).  Drink over the next five to seven years.
