Very nice showing for this wine. It is a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 20% Cinsault. Pale pink with slight silvery notes in color, clear and bright. The nose opens with strawberries. With air it gets "dusty" with cherries. Medium bodied. Nice acidity. On the palate, tart cherries with some depth. Good finish. This is nice on its own but was better with watermelon and cantaloupe. A lovely wine for a summer evening.
In a recent blind tasting of Languedoc wines, this was the clear winner. It is a blend of 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre. Purple in color, clear and bright. The nose has black cherries, black raspberries, spice, slight black olives and strawberries. Medium bodied. Medium tannins. Good balance. On the palate, this is tasty with flavors of black cherries and black raspberries along with a bit of spice and pepper. Nice finish. This drinks well on its own but better with food. This would be a nice wine with grilled meats or fowl. Drink over the next few years.
This is a blend of60% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 7% Mourvèdre, 4% Syrah, and 4% Rolle. Pale pink in color with some slight "silvery/blue" hues. Clear and bright. The nose has a cherry juice note. With air, some light watermelon adds to the aromas. Medium bodied. Moderate acidity. On the palate, there is some depth along with tart cherries. The finish is a bit clipped. It is nice on its own but would be better with lighter food. It would work nicely with a Goat Cheese salad. Drink over the next year or two.
Impressive Rosé from Provence. It is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Tibouren. Medium Salmon Pink with some orange swirls in color, clear and bright. The nose is powerful with cherries, strawberries, pomegranate, and slight thyme notes. It has a very nice texture. Plush but firm with a slightly viscous feel. On the palate, the wine is dry. Flavors of cherries, strawberries, and slight blood orange. There is also a minerality to this wine that is very nice. Good finish. This is a wine that flaunts its serious side. It is nice on its own but also will work well
This is a Rose blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah from France. 13% abv. This is a very tasty wine that represents a nice value. It is a deep salmon pink/orange color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with strawberries, slight pomegranate, with a hint of dried herbs. Slightly oily texture. On the palate, raspberries with pomegranate. Clean. Good acidity. Nice finish. This drinks nicely on its own and will work well with lighter foods but also fried chicken. Drink now.
