This is an attractively priced Chardonnay from Sonoma County.  Golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has a fair amount of toasted oak along with slight green apples and a bit of lemons.  Full bodied.  Light tannins.  Nice mouth feel.  On the palate, the lemons and green apples come thru as does the oak.  Good finish.  I suspect the oak will integrate with a few years in the cellar but never go away.  If that is something you like (or even tolerate), this wine delivers plenty for the price.  It drinks well on its own and will work well with most foods.  While Salmon would be classic, this would be good with buttered popcorn while streaming a movie.
