Erin Brooks moved from North Carolina to New Mexico in 2003 and graduated Cum Laude from the College of Santa Fe with a B.A. in Creative Writing and Politics. She has received awards for her poetry and creative nonfiction essays. Erin is currently the bar manager and sommelier at New Mexico’s only four-star, four-diamond restaurant. She has passed her Introductory Course and Exam for the Court of Master Sommeliers, achieved the Intermediate Certificate for the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and has completed the BarSmarts bartender education course. Erin dreams of traveling the world to continue learning and writing about wine and hopes to one day pass the Master of Wine examination.
