One of my all time favorite Oregon Pinots.  Great vintage, great vineyard and great winemaker coming together.  At age 20, this was gorgeous.  Deep garnet in color with some purple hues, mostly clear and bright.  The nose is great with cherries, sour cherries, char, forest floor and slight funk.  Medium bodied.  Tannins resolved.  Great balance.  On the palate, complex and deep with layers of cherries, forest floor and earthiness.  Long finish.  It drinks nicely on its own but is better with food.  It went great with a Mushroom Risotto but would be good with Salmon, too.  Drink over the next five years.
