Very nice showing at age 27.  Medium golden in color with some ruby notes, clear and bright.  The nose is very nice with apricots, slight honey and just a hint of oxidation.  Medium to full bodied.  Viscous texture.  The palate has apricots and honey but a bit clipped and slightly bitter on the finish.  Probaby a bit past peak but still has years left of pleasure.  Would be nice with a Polenta Cake for dessert.

Very nice showing for this wine.  It is easily available and very fairly priced.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  Very pretty nose of orange peel, honey and apricots.  Also a light, breezy floral note.  Medium bodied but viscous.  Nicely balanced with acidity that cuts thru well.  On the palate, flavors of honey and apricots with a slight bitter (like pith) note on the finish that works well.  This is delicious on its own and would be nice with a less sweet cookie or cake at the end of an meal.  Drink over the next twenty to thirty years.

This is Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Veeder and St. Helena.  Purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose has cassis, dark chocolate, chocolate, cedar, coffee, and spice.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Nice energy.  On the palate, there is cassis, black cherries, chocolate, coffee and char.  Long finish.  It could use another three to five years in the cellar but no harm in opening now.  It should easily go another twenty years.  It will work well with Roasted Beef or Brisket but also Roasted Acorn Squash.

Very cool label for this (and the Chardonnay).  The wine is a deep ruby in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose is a bit earthy with a note of sweaty socks along with black cherries and cherries.  Medium to full bodied.  Nice texture.  On the palate, plenty of sour cherry fruit with some black cherries.  Good finish.  This is very California in style for a Pinot Noir.  It drinks well on its own and will work well with many foods especially foods on the bigger side.  Drink over the next seven to ten years.  Nice value for Pinot Noir.
