The initial sip leads the way into lovely flavors of white peach, Asian pear, slight mandarin orange, and a whiff of ginger. The sleek viscosity is enticing as is the moderate acidity, and the creaminess of this wine makes you forget how harmoniously blended it is. This is all estate grown fruit and 100% Chardonnay. By the numbers, this comes out to three weeks of fermentation, 14 months of barrel aging, and 50% of the wine done in malolactic.
