
This is a blend of Nebbiolo (65%) and Barbera from the Bionzo vineyard (35%) that is vegan and certified organic. Ruby in color, partially opaque and bright. The nose is deep with cherries, black cherries, a bit of cocoa and baking spice. Medium bodied. Firm tannins. Strong acidity. On the palate, this is tasty with cherries and black cherries along with some spice. Dark chocolate comes out on the moderate finish. This wine really will drink better with food. A great choice for Pizza night but it will work with Roasted duck and more substantial foods as well. Drink over the next eight to fifteen years.
