Served at the winery!  Deep garnet in color, mostly clear and bright.  The nose is very pretty/perfumed with dust, cherries, slight black cherries, tar and also a bit of alcohol.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Great acidity.  On the palate, this is youthful and complex at age 19.  Not quite at peak but showing tertiary qualities.  Layers of black cherries, cherries, plums, dried flowers and tar/minerality.  A very earthy (in a good way) finish.  This is contemplative on its own but will be better with food.  Braised meats would certainly work well.  Drink over the next ten to fifteen years.
