A nice showing for this.  It is on the more elegant side of Barolo but in a great place.  Ruby in color with some orange hues, clear and bright.  The nose is perfumed with cherries, floral notes, slight saddle leather and slight spice.  Medium to full bodied.  Medium tannins.  Great balance.  On the palate, this is delicious with lots of tight layering and plenty of depth.  Flavors of cherries, slight dried cherries and slight floral notes.  Long finish.  This is a classic, older styled Barolo that really demands food.  Some type of Mushroom based dish is in order. Plenty of time left, this should drink well for another ten to twenty years.
