This is a very good vintage in Burgundy that was often not given the credit it was due. At this stage though, every bottle is an adventure.  This one showed very well at age 32.  Ruby in color, a bit flat, not significant browning.  The nose is really nice and on point.  Cherries, macerated cherries, warm earthiness, mostly clean with a touch of funk.  Medium bodied.  Tannins all resolved.  Good acidity.  On the  palate, this has a nice complexity.  Flavors of cherries, slight sandalwood, and very slight cherry juice.  Good finish.  This bottle was everything one could expect from this wine.  It was lovely on its own and would have been nice with a Mushroom Risotto or with beef Bourguignon.  Drink up if you have one, it won't get better.
