Like most of Beddrock's basic level bottlings this is a tremendous value )in Sauvignon Blanc). Light golden in color with some green hues. The nose is nice with lemon and lime notes, melon, and just a hint of tropical fruits. Medium bodied. Slightly oily texture. Great balance. On the palate, lemon-lime and honey-dew. Good finish. Tasty. This is nice on its own and will work nicely with fish or lighter foods. A nice wine for Sushi. Drink over the next seven to ten years.
You may not know it, but La Crema has been producing wine for over 40 years. This 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is part of that proud heritage. This offers light lemon-lime, quince, honeysuckle, resin, apricot and guava notes. It’s a lighter style wine that makes it inherently better with a diversity of food. The acidity is in check due mainly to the use, predominately, of stainless steel, and just 27% went into neutral oak allowing for a flinty, tactile expression. ORIGIN: Sonoma County. ALCHOL: 13.5%
Bedrock makes a very nice Sauvignon Blanc that is an excellent value. Golden in color with green hues. The nose is great with a slight grassy note along with some melons and a hint of grapefruits. Medium bodied. Lovely slightly oily texture. Good acidity. On the palate, this is delicious. It drinks very easily with a persistent finish. Great on its own, this would be very popular for a summer party. It also works well with lighter foods. It went great with vegetarian (Tofu) Tacos. Drink over the next three to five years.

On the palate, this is tasty. Lovely texture. Black cherries, cherries and some char and spice. Good finish. This is very drinkable. Young, but open. Drink over the next seven to ten years. Great on its own, this will work well with ribs or a burger off the grill.
A WOW wine to be sure. Still very young. The color is fascinating. Almost a Day-Glo yellow/green in color. Iridescent. The nose has a lot of oak, toast and char but also some pineapple and a bit of citrus. With air, minerality comes out and the oak integrates just a bit. Full bodied. On the palate, this is big, ripe and sexy. Citrus, some butterscotch and plenty of baking spice and char. Long finish. This is fantastic now (especially if you are not oak averse), but give it another decade in the cellar and it will be flirting with a 100 score. Either way, it should have at least
Purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose has black raspberries, slight black pepper and a hint of purple flowers. Full bodied. Light tannins. On the palate, nice black raspberry fruit with some char. Good acidity. Nice finish. This drinks easy and is tasty. Drink over the next five to eight years. A nice wine with a really good burger.
This is a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec. Garnet in color, mostly clear and bright. The nose has cassis, dust and slight dishwasher note (not pleasant). Full bodied. Medium tannins. Much better on the palate. Cassis with a fair amount of oak. Moderate finish. This drinks easy on its own and would be nice with a burger or plate of pasta. Drink over the next few years.
One of the old guard from Napa. This is their basic Zin which is actually a blend of 83% Zinfandel, 10% Petite Sirah, 3% Alicante, and 4% mixed reds. This is a fine value. Ruby in color, mostly clear and bright. The nose has bramble with a peppery note. Medium bodied. Light tannins. On the palate, cherries and raspberries. Easy finish. This is drinkable without requiring contemplation. Drink over the next couple of years. A nice wine with foods off grill.
Made in a more classic California Chardonnay style, this Migration offers traditional lemon-lime, apricot, white peach, resin and guava notes along with honeysuckle, pear and a pleasant mouth feel. There is a good balance of oak and non-oak, excellent acidity and a subversive viscosity. Aged 10 months in just 34% new French oak allows the fruit and acidity to shine through. Made of all Chardonnay, the grapes came from five different vineyard sites within the AVA, which helps to provide a more well rounded Chardonnay. ORIGIN: Sonoma Coast. ALCOHOL: 14.2%.
