Tasted at the winery.  This is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Sauvignon Blanc, and 20% Viognier from vineyards planted in 1997.  Yellow/gold in color with slight green hues.  The nose is clean and fruity.  Notes of lime, alfalfa, and slight mandarin orange.  Slightly oily texture.  Nice acidity.  On the palate, mostly limes, some grapefruit and some minerality.  Long finish.  This drinks well on its own and would work nice with lighter foods.  This would actually work well with Roasted Asparagus.  Drink over the next four to six years.

This is 100% Nebbiolo from Piemonte, Italy.  Purchased and consumed at a winer bar in La Morra.  Light ruby in color, clear and bright.  Nice nose of cherries, slight black cherries, a touch of tar and dust.  Medium bodied.  Medium tannins.  Nice acidity.  On the palate, this drinks easy.  Flavors of cherries with some char.  Nice finish.  This works on its own but would be better with food.  Pasta or Pizza would be easy choices.  Drink over the next five to  eight years.

Served at the winery.  Certified Organic.  From a single vineyard.  Pale silvery/gold in color.  A bit of medium sized bubbles that disappear in the glass.  The nose is big with sage, peach and lemon-lime notes.  With air, some honey tones emerge.  Medium bodied.  Almost seamless texture.  Slightly sweet.  5% abv.  Some depth.  Flavors of peach, sage and touch of sea air/salinity.  Long finish.  This is a delightful, easy way to finish a tasting or a meal.  It would work well with Biscotti or a not too sweet almond cookie.  Drink over the next year or two.
