Another stunning Chardonnay from Rivers-Marie.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is lovely with lemon creme, slight vanilla, spice with nice minerality.  Full bodied.  Crisp balance.  On the palate, this is juicy with Lemon Creme, vanilla, slight lemon and spice.  Long finish.  Still on the young side, this will likely still improve.  Deep with tight layering, it unwinds quickly in the glass.  it is wonderful on its own and will work well with many foods.  A nice choice with Salmon or Tuna Steaks.  Drink over the next twelve years.

Wow. One of the best white wines I can remember. Not sure why but it seemed a step above a bottle consumed about a month ago. This is a blend of 33% Chardonnay, 27% Viognier, 24% Gelber Muskateller, 12% Roussanne, and 4% Petit Manseng. Light to medium golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is complex with peach, lemon creme, slight "white floral notes", slight wax, char, slight baked bread and spice. It keeps evolving. Full bodied. Oily texture. Light tannins. So sharp edges but great balance. On the palate, this is layered, complex and delicious.

Very nice showing for this Left Bank Bordeaux wine.  Purple in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose is pretty with cassis, cedar, dark chocolate, spice and slight black cherries.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Good balance.  On the palate, this is young but with some air, this is drinking well.  Flavors of cassis, black cherries, slight chocolate and spice.  Tight but complex.  Long finish.  This is nice on its own and will work with fatty foods such as Prime Rib.  Drink over the next twenty  years.

Purple in color, ruby at the rim, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose has cassis, black cherries, dust, slight leather and spice.  Medium bodied.  Good acidity.  Medium tannins.  On the palate, black cherries with some cassis and slight tar.  Moderate finish.  This is drinking well now on its own but probably a bit better with food.  This should go nicely with Lamb Stew.  drink over the next ten years.
