2023 Doña Paula Malbec Estate High Altitude, Argentina, Mendoza, Uco Valley, Wine Review

This is 100% Malbec from Argentina sourced from vineyards high in the Andes.  Purple in color with some ruby hues, opaque and bright.  The nose is deep with plums, black raspberries, char and slight floral notes.  Full bodied.  Light to medium tannins.  Good acidity.  on the palate, this has some sweetness to it.  Black raspberry fruit with some plums.  Good finish.  This would be a nice wine at a party.  It drinks easy on its own and would be popular among a wide range of tastes.  It will work nicely with grilled or roasted foods.  BBQ RIbs and Burgers would work well.  Drink over the  next five years.  Nice value.
