This is 100% Malbec brought up in 30% new oak from estate grown fruit. It is a step up from the Perlita line. Inky purple in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose is big, "masculine" with plums, spices and slight char. Full bodied. Medium tannins. Good acidity. On the palate, plums with spice and slight dark chocolate. This has plenty of depth and complexity. While on the youthful side it is drinking well now but may still improve and it comes together. It drinks weell on its own and would work well with grilled meats but think also of roasted acorn squash. Drink over the next ten years.
