This is the top lineup of wines from DiamAndes. This bottling is a blend of 75/25 Malbec/Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep purple in color, ruby at the rim, opaque and bright. The nose has plums, cassis, dark chocolate, baking spice and slight char. Firm tannins. Full bodied. Good balance. On the palate, black cherries, plums, slight cassis with underlying spice and char. Good finish. This is still young and should improve with good cellaring. It has nice depth anc complexity and is more concentrated than the other red offerings. Great on its own, it will need bigger foods to stand up to it for now. It would br a great match for a roasted briskett. Drink over the next ten years.
