This is a Sauvignon Blanc from northeast Italy.  Light golden in color with subtle hues of green, clear and bright.  The nose is deep with aromas of grass, slight peach, and slight papaya along with a "rocky" minerality.  Medium bodied.  Crisp acidity.  Clean.  On the palate, this has some peach and some tropical fruit but is mostly mineral driven.  It drinks nicely on its own but is better with food.  It would go well with grilled fish.  The wineries website mentions Asparagus Risotto and while that is a tough pairing, I think it would also work well.  Drink over the next few years.
