This Chardonnay is meant to be an embracing of an everyday Chardonnay, one that doesn’t break the bank, but one that provides not only value, but plenty of flavor. Yes, this does possess that buttery quality - it states barrel fermented right on the label, and is unapologetic in it’s bold style. Some people love that style and some people don’t, however this is a tactile expression of a smooth tasting Chardonnay that provides lemon-lime, pear, white peach, with notes of resin, apricot, and fresh baked bread topped with melted butter. There is enough acidity and slight mineralality to make it interesting and it’s also a fine Chardonnay with food or just as a glass of wine on a weekday night. ORIGIN: Clarksburg, Monterey.
