Tasted at the winery. It is a blend of mostly Teroldego (82%) with the rest made up from Schiava, Lagrein and Merlot. Lezer means "light" and the idea for this wine is to create a light wine perfect for summertime consumption. 50,000 bottles are produced. Ruby/purple in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with cranberries and slight strawberries. Medium bodied. Slightly creamy texture. Well balanced. On the palate, strawberries and cherries. A bit clipped on the finish. This is more than a simple light wine possibly owing to the various methods of vinification utilized (amphorae, cement tanks, and wood barrels) but it is a refreshing beverage with good energy. It is nice on its own and would be nice with lighter foods such as a chicken salad at lunch or fried zucchini as an appetizer. Drink over the next year or two.
