Tasted at the winery. Ruby/purple in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose has cherries, dust, sorrel and minerality. Medium bodied. On the palate, this seems riper than the 2023 with less acidity. Flavors of cherries, slight black cherries with good minerality. A hint of anise on the finish. This is still showing much younger than expected. It seems like it should easily go another ten to fifteen years. Nice on its own but probably better with food. This would work well with grilled vegetables and a really well made grilled cheese (like the one served at Ai Vicoli in Trento).
