2023 Foradori Teroldego Morei Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT, Italy, Trentino, Wine Review

Tasted at the winery.  This is 100% Teroldego raised on its skins during eight months in amphorae.  Ruby in color, clear and bright.  The nose is nice with black cherries, plums, slight pine, and very slight dusty notes.  Medium to full bodied.  Light to medium tannins.  Lively acidity.  On the palate, cherries and black cherries with some pine/forest floor on the back end.  Good finish.  This is a very interesting wine that is also quite excellent.  It is nice on its own but should be better with food.  This would go well with smoked pork and marinated apples.  Drink over the next seven to ten years.
