Another top notch Chardonnay from Ceritas. Light golden in color, clear and bright. Great nose with Orange peel, slight lemon creme, vanilla, minerality and spice. Full bodied. Light tannins. Great balance. On the palate, this has plenty of depth and complexity that opens nicely in the glass. Flavors of orange citrus, slight lemon, minerality, and slight vanilla. Delicious. Long finish. This is great on its own and will work well with most foods. A nice choice would be Baked Salmon. Drink over the next ten years or so.

My first time trying this and it was excellent. Pop and pour and enjoyed with a shishito pepper dish that worked quite well. Pale silvery/gold in color. The nose has a salinity that is nice with minerals and slight green apples. On the palate, this is not as austere as I had been led to believe. In fact, it is very round and full bodied. Nice apple fruit with underlying minerality. Great acidity. Long finish. Delicious wine that is drinking well today but probably has a decade left. It seems like it has the stuffing to mature and gain in complexity so probably still some upside.

I tend to taste and drink a lot of wine over the course of a year. I am in a few tasting groups, sometimes the wines are consumed at various local wine store tastings and a number drunk with friends and family.

Nice to revisit this (last tasted in 2017) as it showed good if not up to expectations. This was a much better showing for whatever reason. Pale golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is smoky with lemons and bigger than expected. On the palate, this has medium body with good acidity. Lemons and lemon cream. Nice minerality. A long finish. This is drinking well if fully mature. It should continue to drink well for another eight to twelve years. It drinks well on its own and would work well with grilled trout or other fish.
