Ceritas makes a wonderful lineup of Chardonnay's and I encourage everyone to sign up for their mailing list.  This one is no exception.  Light golden in color. The nose has a bit of lemon, some vanilla, some red apples and a hint of salinity.  Very nice and got better with air.  On the palate, this is a big wine but more wider than a fruit or oak bomb.  It also has a cutting acidity that works very well to give this wine structure and bite at the same time.  Apples, salinity, minerality and slight lemon/vanilla.  Deep and complex.  No experience with ageing but it seems like it should go another ten years.  Long finish.  This will work just fine on its own or with all but the heaviest meat dishes.
