The only prior taste of this wine was the 2017 and seemingly not a proper bottle, so it was great to be able to try this. Made from 100% Trubiana (formerly known as Trebbiano di Lugano) in the area not far from Lake Garda. Light golden in color with green hues, clear and bright. The nose is very nice with grapefruit, straw, wild thyme and slight balsamic. Medium bodied. Crisp acidity. On the palate, this is tasty. Flavors of yellow grapefruit with a nice minerality. Good finish. This is very nice on its own but probably better with food. It would be nice with fresh water fish such as Trout. Drink over the next few years.
