This is their basic line of wine made for immediate consumption. This Chardonnay sees no oak and zero malolactic fermentation. The result is a refreshing, easy drinking Chard that is very affordable. Yellow/green in color, clear and bright. The nose has loads of granny smith apples with a slight asparagus note (in a good way). Nice texture. Good balance. Crisp acidity. On the palate, the green apples come thru with just a hint of lemon. Long finish. A great wine to sit on the patio with at the end of the day. This seemed a bit better than a bottle tried a month ago without food. In this case, Cavatelli with mushrooms was a great foil to the acidity in the wine.
