An interesting Chardonnay from Argentina. Grown at high altitude, and picked early, the label lists 75 calories in a 5 oz. glass and .17G Carbs at 9% abv. The label also lists it as Vegan friendly and made with organic grapes. I had my doubts but upon trying, this wine delivers. Pale silver and hay in color, clear and bright. The nose is lighter but nice pink grapefruit notes. Light bodied. Just a wisp of a tannin. On the palate, there is a slight sweetness to this but also tart grapefruit notes. Much more open on the palate. A long, clean finish. This is very refreshing and would be nice on the patio. It will work with lighter foods such as a Beet & Goat Cheese salad. Drink over the next year or two. At $14, a great value and perfect for a party.
