This Pinot Noir is from Oregon.  The vineyards are planted along the 45th parallel hence the name.  It is 100% Dijon clone.  Deep ruby in color, clear and bright.  The nose is nice with cherries, cinnamon, and other baking spices.  Medium bodied.  Medium tannins.  Nice balance.  On the palate, this has a bit of a cherry cough drop note (i a good way) with slight char.  Some cola notes on the finish.  A very nice Pinot that is middle of the road in style.  It is drinking well now and should for another five to eight years.  It should pair well with traditional Pinot Noir pairings such as Salmon or Duck.
