2021 Denner The Dirt Worshipper, USA, California, Paso Robles, Willow Creek, Wine Review

Gorgeous showing for this Rhone blend from central California.  It is a blend of 88% Syrah, 7% Petit Verdot, 4% Graciano, and 1% Viognier.  Purple in color, opaque and shimmering bright.  The nose is deep with black raspberries, black pepper, grilled meats, leather, dark chocolate and roasted herbs.  Full bodied.  Medium tannins.  Great energy and balance.  On the palate, this is deep and delicious. Flavors of black raspberries, dark chocolate, black pepper and char.  Long finish.  This is great on its own and will work with bigger foods.  A nice choice for Roasted Root vegetables or Brisket.  Drink over the next ten to fifteen years.
