This is a blend of 41% Roussanne, 26% Chardonnay, 14% Petit Manseng, 12% Viognier and 7% Muskat (Gelber Muskateller). 15.3% Abv.  For me this was a wow wine.  It will not be for everyone as it is a big wine with plenty of oak and an unusual blend, but I loved it.  Deep golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has peaches, vanilla, slightly burned toast, and slight tropical fruits.  Deep and complex.  Full bodied.  On the palate, this has a voluptuous texture.  Great balance.  Seamless.  Peaches, guava and vanilla with a hint of vanilla and underlying char.  Long finish.  Delicious.  While it could probably go twenty years, it is fantastic and vibrant today.  Great on its own, this will be a more difficult food match so as not to overpower the food.  Salmon with a stronger dill sauce should work.
