This is a new winery for Intowine.com.  Vintner Joe Wolosz, along with his husband and partner Jeff Durham are making some exceptional wines in Napa.  This one is quite good, but it is very tight and needs some cellaring to really hit its peaks.  Purple in color with the thin ruby rim, opaque and bright.  The nose has loads of cassis, cedar and fresh cut oak note.  It is very rich. Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  On the palate, this is very tight and drinking over two nights barely budged it.  Cassis, char, cedar, slight chocolate and cloves (hmmm, they all start with "c").  a bit of warmth on the finish.  This needs about five to ten years of cellaring and then the score will easily be 95+.  It should drink well for ten to twenty years after that.  Better on its own right now, if serving with food, prime rib or Waygu steak will work.
