This wine is a charmer - a Sauvignon Blanc for people like me who are not big Sauvignon Blanc fans. This offers a playful delicacy, and is infused with bright sunny citrus flavors including lemongrass, lemon-lime, grapefruit, Asian pear, honeydew melon, light floral notes and great acidity to go with food. Comprised entirely of Sauvignon Blanc, except for 9% Semillon, this is an exceptional wine that will pair with a wide variety of dishes. I chose a bone-in pork chop with a Worcestershire reduction, for example. And that’s because this wine has just the right harmonious elements of acidity, fruit and freshness to make this a clear winner. Aged for a mere six months in stainless steel helps it retain its lively, crisp quality. And considering the price tag,
this over delivers in every single aspect. Bright, crisp, clean, if this doesn’t turn you on to Sauvignon Blanc, then nothing will. ORIGIN: Napa Valley, Los Caneros. ALCOHOL:14.2%.
