Tasted at the winery.  This is the first wine that Clerico produced back in 1978.  It is aged in Stainless Steel and sees no oak.  Ruby/purple in color, clear and bright.  The nose has raspberries, slight bubble gum, slight char and a hint of white pepper.  Medium bodied.  Good acidity.  Light tannins.  Some depth.  On the palate, tart cherries, slight red apples, slight candied cherries.  Long finish.  This is refreshing and wakes up the palate.  Better with a bit of food, this is a nice Pizza wine but would be nice with (spicy) Chicken Wings, too.  Drink over the next few years.  Great value.
