This had previously been reviewed but this most recent tasting seemed significantly better. Deep ruby in color, clear and bright. The nose is earthy with cherries, slight red currants ad slight char. Nice texture. Medium bodied. Medium tannins. On the palate, this has some depth. Flavors of cherries and black cherries with a slight char. Long finish. This is more on the elegant side but a bit of ageing has allowed this to put on a bit of weight and develop more. Nice on its own, this is better with food. It worked nicely with assorted cheeses. Drink over the next six to ten years.
