2022 Papapietro Perry Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast, USA, California, Wine Review

This is another excellent Pinot Noir from Sonoma.  It is on the more elegant side of Sonoma Coast Pinots as seems to be typical of the style of this winery.  Deep ruby in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose has cherries, black cherries, slight cinnamon, and a hint of earthiness.  Very nice texture.  Good balance.  On the palate, this is delicious.  Flavors of cherries, strawberries and slight black cherries with a hint of baking spice.  Long finish.  This drinks well on its own and will work well with (especially) earthy foods.  A Mushroom Tart would be great.  drink over the next ten to fifteen years.
