Tasted at the winery. The grapes come from three different plots, hence the name. The first vintage of this wine was 1989. Purple/ruby in color, partially opaque and bright. The nose has cherries, some plums and is very clean. Medium bodied. Light tannins. Strong backbone of acidity. On the palate, flavors of raspberries, black raspberries and some black cherries. Long finish. The wine really needs some food to work with the juicy acidity but it is delicious. This would work well with a Cinnamon Risotto (or any kind of creamy al dente Risotto). drink over the next three to five years.
