Implicit is a winery owned by three couples from northeast Ohio (I do not know them) who hired Kirk Venge as a sort of combination consultant and winemaker.  This is 100% Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon.  Inky purple in color, opaque and shimmering bright.  The nose is open and great with cassis, slight blueberries, slight black cherries along with a touch of vanilla and a bit of spice.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Nicely balanced.  A very nice velvety texture.  On the palate, this is tight at first but opens quickly in the glass to show generous cassis and black cherry fruit with plenty of depth along with a touch oof dark chocolate and spice.  Just a hint of new oak which quickly integrates in the glass.  Long finish.  This is of course young, so if opening soon, give it a good decant (three hours).  It will improve with cellar time.  While it is on the bigger side, it is not a fruit bomb.  It should drink well for twenty years.  It worked well with the vegetarian side of Thanksgiving dinner but would surely go with the Turkey, too.
