Tasted at the winery.  17% Abv.  This is their basic Amarone.  Is a blend of 35% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, and 5% Molinara.  Garnet in color, deeper in color at the center,  Shimmering bright.  The nose is earthy with clay, black cherries, coffee and slight chocolate.  Medium to full bodied.  Medium tannins.  On the palate, there is a bit of sweetness.  Residual sugars at 10g/ltr.  It is delicious.  Flavors of black cherries, plums with slight dark chocolate.  Well balanced.  Long finish.  This is drinking well now but may still improve and will certainly develop more as it matures.  Drink over the next eight to fifteen years.  It is great on its own and will work well with robust foods.  It will be excellent with Eggplant Parmesan or Osso Bucco.
