A very nice Brunello. Garnet in color, mostly clear and bright. The nose is deep with cherries, green tobacco, tea leaves, and dust. Medium bodied. Firm tannins. Great energy and balance. On the palate, cherries, dust and slight forest floor with great acidity. Long finish. This is young and needs air but once it opens, this is outstanding. It is better with food, that's what Brunellos do, but nice on its own. This would be great with a plate of creamy Tuscan Chicken Pasta as the acidity in the wine will provide a nice counterbalance to the rich food. It really needs a couple more years of cellaring so if opening soon, let it breathe for a few hours or decant. Drink over the next twelve to fifteen years.
