This is mostly Mourvedre with 10% Carignan and 2% Alicante Bouschet.  Purple/ruby  in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose is nice with black cherries, slight cherries, a bit of anise and spice.  With air, there does seem to be some Brett on this in the form of Band-Aid.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  On the palate, flavors of black cherries along with a touch of Ban-Aid.  Long finish.  Overall, the Brett does not dominate and not an issue (depending on sensitivity).  This should go another twenty years but is drinking nice now.  It would probably be better with food.  A hearty soup or stew would be nice on a cold day.
